Mother,
Father and Child- Anxiously awaiting another-
Daddy wanted a son- Stephanie wanted a Brother-
A boy was on the way, to make the family complete-
Until that fateful day, when they said “we can’t find a heartbeat.”
But we
know that Matthew’s in Heaven, forever safe from harm,
And we know he’ll be there forever, in Jesus’ loving arms.
We couldn’t
believe our eyes, it was the worst of all our fears-
We hugged a thousand times, we cried a thousand tears.
The next day Matthew was born, beautiful, quiet, and still-
And it was so hard to see- how this could be- God’s will.
But we
know that Matthew’s in Heaven, forever safe from harm,
And we know he’ll be there forever, in Jesus’ loving arms.
Time has
passed, but the pain’s so deep that we can’t help but cry,
And we hold on tight to the love we share that we know can never
die.
But the only solace that we feel is that Matthew looks down
from above
And that one day we’ll all be together in the glory of God’s
love.
Yes, on
that day we’ll all be in Heaven, forever safe from harm,
And we’ll be a family forever, in Jesus’ loving arms.
